What's up, Liners? Too early? No one follows me anyway, we'll get there, maybe. I feel like I'm talking to a wall, but that's kind of what it's like talking to people sometimes. Anyway, I digress, abortion. Yes, abortion, that thing no one wants to talk about.
Now, there are really good arguments on both sides, surprisingly. We've got Pro-Life, you know, let the baby live, it has a life, how can we decide who lives and dies, it's murder. Those people. On the other side, Pro-Choice, the side that says it's up to the mother, it hasn't taken a breath, it hasn't actually "lived", and rape, etc. etc. etc. isn't really up to the mother and why she shouldn't be forced to have the baby.
Now, mistakes do happen, I've actually been through a miscarriage, and I think the worst part was that I wasn't told until it actually had been a miscarriage. Was I ready to be a parent? No, I don't think so, but I think I would have tried to be. It's weird, reality, but whatever, back to the topic. THAT point is that I've actually been through that, so I know what it's like, so don't knock me off when I say this next part.
Pro-Choice, in my opinion, I feel is more reasonable, simply because I have a degree in Laboratory Sciences, so I do actually know how a baby is made, you ARE correct, stork. Seriously though, I don't feel that it is a child until it has been born, but on the other side, third trimester, that's too much. I feel there should be a certain amount of days from knowing of the pregnancy to deciding abortion or keeping it. Just saying, I think that would clear things up, not to be too sick but like, returning a product. Thirty days, deciding if you want it or not, mistakes do happen and some people aren't prepared for it. Some people get raped, sexually abused, and they happen to get pregnant, I feel that's a dead no if they don't want it, no twisted pun intended.
Both sides make good points, they really do, and in the end, I do feel it's the mother's right and even then, it should come down to situation. Unprotected sex is just dumb anyway, I do it, so what? I can feel you calling me a hypocrite right now, crazy Pro-Lifers. I kid, I kid. Bottom line is, this issue should be dealt with yes, and it's a big issue either way you look at it. It should be put on the chopping block, yes or no, not pushed on the back burner because no one wants to talk about it.
Everyone, it's an issue, and I side with the Choicers in the end, even though I do agree with the Lifers. Just remember, "I'm not a monster, I'm just ahead of the curve."
